To thoroughly implement the requirements of the "Work Safety Month" initiative and comprehensively enhance employees' emergency response capabilities, the company collaborated with the Red Cross to organize a training session for Red Cross first aid responders. As a key component of the "Work Safety Month" series of activities, this training adopted a "theoretical instruction + practical assessment" approach to promote the widespread acquisition of first aid skills. This effort further strengthens the foundation of workplace safety, fostering a strong atmosphere where "everyone prioritizes safety and all are capable of handling emergencies."
①Theoretical Explanation
The training was closely aligned with the theme of work safety. Through the vivid and illustrative explanations by professional Red Cross instructors, Hwaway employees systematically gained a structured understanding of the first aid knowledge framework.
The theoretical training provided a detailed explanation of emergency rescue knowledge, including the operational procedures for cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR), the usage methods of automated external defibrillators (AEDs), and the Heimlich maneuver. It also emphasized practical skills such as trauma care and fracture bandaging.
The instructor used real-world cases to clearly and profoundly explain the "Golden Four-Minute" principle in first aid, along with the corresponding procedures and key considerations. Emphasis was also placed on the importance of self-protection awareness and demonstrating humanistic care during rescue operations.
②Practical Drill
Following the theoretical session, the training progressed to the practical segment.
The instructor demonstrated the standard operating procedures for cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) and the correct usage of the automated external defibrillator (AED) on-site. Every movement was executed with precision, accompanied by detailed explanations of key action points and precautions. Under the instructor's guidance, employees then engaged in one-on-one practice sessions.
The trainees participated enthusiastically and, under the guidance of the medical staff, began to gain hands-on experience. Through repeated practice, they gradually mastered the techniques for compression frequency, depth, and rescue breathing.
③Training Assessment
Following this training program, all participating employees successfully passed both the theoretical and practical assessments, obtaining the "Red Cross First Aider Certificate."
