May Fourth Youth Day Hiking Event | Let's Go to the Mountains and Rivers Together, The Youth Should Be Passionate

On April 26, 2025, under the theme "Together Across Mountains and Rivers, Youth Ignited," Hwaway Technology organized a hiking event for employees aged 28 and below at Zhuji Hugou Cliff to celebrate the May 4th Youth Day.
To commemorate the 106th anniversary of the May 4th Movement, carry forward the May 4th spirit of "patriotism, progress, democracy and science", showcase the vigorous and positive spirit of the young employees of Hwaway Technology, and enhance team cohesion and collaboration awareness, on April 26th, Hwaway Technology held a theme event titled "Unite the Mountains and Rivers, Youth Should Ignite". Organize young employees aged 28 and under to go to Hugou Cliff in Zhuji for a hiking activity on May 4th Youth Day.

Peril and beauty coexist
The unique charm of Hugou Cliff
Starting from Shenwu Village, passing through Hugou Cliff, Shenwu Tea Farm, Hengche Chain, Shizhuwu Village and other places, the approximately 7-kilometer circular hiking route is not only a feast of natural scenery, but also a tempering of perseverance and team spirit.

At the beginning of the event, the company arranged a shuttle bus to Shenwu Village uniformly. Professional outdoor coaches led all the participants to warm up and play ice-breaking games, quickly bringing the team members closer together.

Conquer the Hugou Cliff at an altitude of 433 meters
Hugou Cliff is named after the exposed "Hugou Rock" on the ridge line. Although it is only about 400 meters above sea level, the steep rock face and the nearly vertical inclination Angle endow it with the "grandeur of 4000 meters".
Starting from the foot of Grandpa Shizhu Mountain, follow the ridge all the way to Jian Gan Ling. This is an original ecological path. It has no hard and cold stone steps. What it has is only the softness and elasticity of fallen leaves turning into mud.
On the day of the event, the sky was clear and cloudless. The ridge line, scorched by the scorching sun, appeared even more perilous. Despite the scorching heat, the young employees of Hwaway are full of fighting spirit and respond to the challenges of nature with their sweat.

My heart rate soared to 140 - I pulled the iron chain across the cliff
The most challenging part was the "Cliff Iron Chain" section - this steep rock face over a hundred meters long required both hands and feet, holding onto the iron chain and passing sideways. The visual impact of the abyss beneath the feet made many team members hold their breath and concentrate.

Everyone encouraged each other, passed on equipment, and took the initiative to "escort" colleagues who were afraid of heights. Eventually, all the staff passed smoothly.

When reaching the summit of Hugou Rock, the team took a group photo at the edge of the cliff, capturing the courage of youth with the blue sky and perilous peaks as the backdrop.

At the end of the event, the team returned to Shenwu Village for rest and replenishment, which was just like a metaphor for this journey - the true essence lies in the ordinary. The trip to Hugou Cliff was not only a conquest of nature by the young employees, but also a vivid interpretation of the May 4th spirit: facing challenges with the tenacity of mountains and rocks and embracing changes with the agility of streams.
Standing at the starting point of the new era, the youth of Hwaway will take this climb as a prelude, continue to work with the tacit understanding of unity and cooperation, and the courage to face difficulties head-on. They will release their youthful passion in hard work and pursue their youthful ideals in dedication, allowing the May 4th spirit to shine even more brightly in the new era.
