Job Responsibilities

1. Production Schedule Coordination: Communicate order requirements with sales, product, and project teams; track prototype progress throughout the process and report any issues.
2. Data Statistics: Monthly tracking of prototype workshop staff attendance, prototype pass rates, number of prototype product types, on-time delivery rates, and scrap rates.
3. Prototype Production Management: Organize prototype production and rework according to production plans, including materials management.
4. Product Analysis: Identify non-conforming products, analyze product yield, and propose improvement measures.
5. Preparation of Work Instructions: Develop operational standards and work instructions for prototype equipment based on workshop supervisor requirements.
6. Experience Documentation: Summarize and document project experiences to build knowledge repositories.

Job Requirements

1. Bachelor’s degree or above in Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, or related fields; candidates with relevant automotive team experience may consider a diploma.
2. Minimum 3 years of experience as a Product Engineer or in prototype-related roles within the automotive parts industry.
3. Proficient in office software, CAD, SolidWorks, and other design tools.
4. Familiarity with customer product standards, testing requirements, process flows, and future development trends.
5. Knowledge of internal product material properties and delivery processes.
6. Solid understanding of product manufacturing processes.
7. Ability to independently manage the prototype workflow.
8. Ability to design simple, commonly used tooling independently using design software.
